Harvard Health Publications to provide advisory support and expert faculty review to Outcome Health in co-creation of health information for waiting and exam rooms nationwide.
BOSTON – August 23, 2017 – Harvard Health Publications(HHP), the division of Harvard Medical School (HMS) that leverages the expertise of more than 11,000 HMS faculty clinicians to create trusted patient health engagement materials, announced its collaboration today with Outcome Health, which improves patient outcomes by providing actionable health intelligence and information at the moment of care through technology. The relationship will bring Harvard Medical School’s valued insights to over 40,000 waiting and exam rooms across the country through Outcome Health’s digital platform.
The teams will begin collaborating immediately to produce valuable insights for patients, caregivers and physicians. With HHP providing expert faculty healthcare content review and advisory support to Outcome Health, their teams will work to create meaningful content that spans videos, illustrations, and additional health information. Later this year, HHP and Outcome Health will also co-conduct focus groups on consumer attitudes and experiences with clinical trials.
