Outcome Health cares about your privacy and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information. This Privacy Statement describes our practices in connection with information that we or our service providers collect through the website or through our products or services.  By providing personal information to us or by using our products or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement addresses how we collect, process, and use information you provide to us, in compliance with United States privacy laws.

We only collect the information you choose to give us, and we process it with your consent, or on another legal basis; we only require the minimum amount of personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us; we don’t sell it to third parties; and we only use it as this Privacy Statement describes.


What Information Outcome Health Collects and Why

Categories of personal information 

“User Personal Information” is any personal information about one of our users which could, alone or together with other information, personally identify them. Information such as a username and password, postal address, signatures, an email address, a real name, and a photograph are examples of “User Personal Information.” 

“Technical Information” may include information we collect from website browsers, such as web server logs, or other log information, such as User session or activity logs. Technical Information may be connected to User Personal Information such as a username or an email address, or to other potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

User Personal Information does not include aggregated, non-personally identifying information. We may use aggregated, non-personally identifying information to operate, analyze, improve, and optimize our website and services.

Information from website browsers

If you’re just browsing the website, we collect the same basic information that most websites collect. We use common internet technologies, such as cookies and web server logs, to collect Technical Information. 

The information we collect about all visitors to our website includes the visitor’s browser type, referring site, additional websites requested, and the date and time of each visitor request. We also collect potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

Information we collect from third parties

From time to time, Outcome Health receives personal information about individuals from third parties. This may happen, for example, if one of our sponsors shares information about you so that we can contact you about Outcome Health’s services. 

Why we collect this information

We need your User Personal Information to create your account, and to provide the services you request, including to provide and install Outcome Health products and sponsored content, or to respond to support or servicing requests.

We will use your email address to communicate with you, if you’ve said that’s okay, and only for the reasons you’ve said that’s okay

We use User Personal Information and other data to make recommendations for you, such as to suggest advertising content. 

We collect Technical Information to better understand how our website visitors use Outcome Health services, and to monitor and protect the security of the website.

We collect Personal Information from third parties for the purposes for which it was authorized to be collected. For example, you may authorize Outcome Health to contact you for marketing purposes via a third party’s platform. If we need to use your personal information for other purposes, we will ask your permission first.

We use your User Personal Information and Technical Information for internal purposes, such as to maintain logs for security reasons, for training purposes, and for legal documentation and compliance.

We limit our use of your User Personal Information to the purposes listed in this Privacy Statement. If we need to use your User Personal Information for other purposes, we will ask your permission first.

Our legal basis for processing information

Outcome Health is required to notify you about the legal basis on which we process User Personal Information. Outcome Health processes User Personal Information on the following legal bases:

  • Contract Performance When you have an Outcome Health account, you provide your email address or other preferred contact information. We require those data elements for you to enter into the Terms of Service agreement with us, and we process those elements on the basis of performing that contract. 
  • Consent As a User, you provide User Personal Information such as your full name, your location, your phone number, email, fax number, and your company to Outcome Health. 
  • Legitimate Interests Generally, the remainder of the processing of personal information we perform is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests. For example, for legal compliance purposes or to maintain ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of Outcome Health’s systems, website, and service, we must keep logs of Technical Information; and, in order to respond to legal process, we are required to keep records.If you would like to request erasure of data we process on the basis of consent or object to our processing of personal information, please contact us at or by calling us toll free at (800) 491-6972.

What Information Outcome Health Does Not Collect

We do not directly collect sensitive personal information, such as social security numbers, genetic data, health information, or religious information from our users or patients. Our vendors may collect such information and provide it to us for purposes of analysis of the effectiveness of our services.

How We Share the Information We Collect

We do share User Personal Information with your permission, so we can perform services you have requested or communicate on your behalf. For example, if you have an Outcome Health product in your office, we will share your account name and address to allow for installation, repair or service of your Outcome Health product(s). 

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade User Personal Information with third parties for their commercial purposes. 

We host advertising on Outcome Health products, in addition to providing educational content to healthcare provider offices, hospitals, and their patients.  We do not control the content and rely on our sponsors and advertising and content providers to assure compliance with all laws. We track the number and location of advertisement and educational content views, and we share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information with our advertising sponsors and others who may prepare content.  We do not share individual names or practice information with our sponsors, and we do not sell this information to marketers. 

We do not disclose User Personal Information outside Outcome Health, except in the situations listed in this section or in the section below on Compelled Disclosure. 

We do share User Personal Information with a limited number of third-party vendors who may perform audits, process it on our behalf to provide or improve our service, help us perform data analytics, and help us to target advertising content to your facility or patients. These third parties have agreed to privacy restrictions similar to our own Privacy Statement. 

Your California Privacy Rights: Residents of the State of California, under certain provisions of the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed certain personally identifiable information, as defined under California law during the preceding year for third party direct marketing purposes. You are limited to one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response. We may share User Personal Information if we are involved in a merger, sale, or acquisition. If any such change of ownership happens, we will ensure that it is under terms that preserve the confidentiality of User Personal Information, and we will notify you on our website or by email before any transfer of your User Personal Information.

How You Can Access and Control the Information We Collect

As an Outcome Health user, you may access, update, alter, request access or corrections to, limit the processing of, or delete your basic user account information by contacting or by calling us toll free at (800) 491-6972.

Data retention and deletion of data

Generally, Outcome Health will retain User Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

We may retain certain User Personal Information indefinitely, unless you request its deletion. For example, we don’t automatically delete inactive user accounts, so unless you choose to delete your account, we will retain your account information indefinitely.

If you would like to cancel your account or delete your User Personal Information, you may do so by contacting or by calling us toll free at (800) 491-6972. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, but barring legal requirements, we will delete your account information (within reason) within 90 days. 

Our Use of Cookies and Tracking

Outcome Health uses cookies to make interactions with our website easy and meaningful. We use cookies and provide information for future development of Outcome Health products and websites. For security reasons, we use cookies to identify a device. By using our website, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your computer or device. On certain areas of the website and through our free Wi-Fi services in healthcare provider offices, we may also use cookies to identify you and/or your device to advertise Outcome Health products and services to you directly or through third party sites.

Tracking and analytics
We use a number of third-party analytics and service providers to help us evaluate our users’ use of Outcome Health’s website and products; compile statistical reports on activity; audit page views, and improve our content, website, free Wi-Fi, and screen performance. We only use these third-party analytics providers on certain areas of our website, on our Wi Fi services, and on all Outcome Health products. In addition, we use our own internal analytics software to provide features and improve our content and performance and provide reports to our customers.

For example, we use Google Analytics (“Google”), a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., to analyze data pertaining to use of our website and other products and applications. Google uses “cookies” which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, and where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate setting on your browser; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. Outcome Health does not control or exert influence on the collection, processing, reporting and usage of data by Google.

Our Website or free Wi-Fi services may link to or contain links to other third-party websites that we do not control or maintain, such as in connection with purchasing products referenced on our Website and banner advertisements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any third-party website. We encourage you to note when you leave our Website and to read the privacy statements of all third-party websites before submitting any personally identifiable information.

How Outcome Health Secures Your Information

Outcome Health takes measures reasonably necessary to protect User Personal Information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction; maintain data accuracy; and help ensure the appropriate use of User Personal Information.

Outcome Health enforces a written security information program. Our program:

  • includes security safeguards reasonably designed to protect the confidentiality and security of our users’ data;
  • is appropriate to the nature, size, and complexity of Outcome Health’s business operations;
  • includes incident response processes; and
  • complies with applicable information security related laws and regulations in the geographic regions where Outcome Health does business.

In the event of a data breach that affects your User Personal Information, we will act promptly to mitigate the impact of a breach and notify any affected users without undue delay.

No method of transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we have on your account. 

How We Respond to Compelled Disclosure

Outcome Health may disclose personally-identifying information or other information we collect about you to law enforcement in response to a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, or similar government order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our property or rights, or those of third parties or the public at large.

In complying with court orders and similar legal processes, Outcome Health strives for transparency. When permitted, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users of any disclosure of their information, unless we are prohibited by law or court order from doing so, or in rare, exigent circumstances.

How We, and Others, Communicate With You

We will use your email address to communicate with you, if you’ve said that’s okay, and only for the reasons you’ve said that’s okay. For example, if you contact Outcome Health with a request for service or installation, we will respond to you via email, facsimile or phone. 

Outcome Health may occasionally send notification emails about changes, new features, requests for feedback, important policy changes, or to offer customer support. We may also send marketing emails, based on your choices and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Changes to Our Privacy Statement

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Outcome Health may change our Privacy Statement from time to time. We will provide notification to Users of material changes to this Privacy Statement through our Website at least 30 days prior to the change taking effect by posting a notice on our home page or sending email to the primary email address specified in your Outcome Health account.
